The story of The Self School starts way back in the day (seriously, it was about 1984).
When I was doing my psychology degree, I realized my passion was actually religious studies.
I took every course I could related to that (and I was totally into spirituality before that, too).
I didn’t think, at the time, that I could change majors.
So, I didn’t.
But that passion stayed with me all my life and I kept learning informally.
After my psychology degree, I went into elementary education for practical reasons, but teaching in that context didn’t suit me.
After a while, I started a masters in world religions and intercultural studies in order to teach adults at the college level. I had to stop . . . again for practical reasons.
I also started a business focused on self discovery.
And I dreamed of doing a spiritual world tour as I call it, and getting an experiential PhD from travelling the world and experiencing the world’s religions, cultures and spiritual practices first-hand. I was going to write a book about the concept of the self in the world’s religions (that was the start of my idea about The Self School).
I looked back on those things and wished that I had done things differently.
That I had followed my passions.
But, instead of focusing on what I should have done, I’m doing it all now . . . just in a different way . . . in The Self School.
The Self School is an experience where you’ll learn all about the self . . . your unique self, and what the world’s religions and spiritual belief systems have to say about the idea of the self.
More on that later.
For now, you can get started by discovering your archetype.
